Most people's thoughts and feelings about themselves fluctuate somewhat based on their daily experiences. The grade you get on an exam, how your friends treat you, ups and downs in a romantic relationship can all have a temporary impact on how you feel about yourself. 

Why should self esteem matter to you?
  • Self esteem can be the difference between success and failure
  • Esteem can affect your thinking, causing your outlook to be positive or negative
  • Esteem affects your confidence
  • It affects your self image
  • If you do not value yourself how will you be able to value others?
  • Self esteem enables you to have the right attitude to succeed at work 
  • It affects your happiness

How to Raise Your Self-Esteem ?

  • Get Patience(sabr)
  • Practice self-care. 
  • Identify triggers to low self-esteem. 
  • Slow down personalizing. 
  • Stop and take notice.
  • Acknowledge reaction. 
  • Choose response. 
  • Accept impulse.
  • Develop skills. We can provide for our own safety, engender hope, tolerate confusion, and raise self-esteem by learning and using these essential life skills:
    • Experience feelings. 
    • Optional thinking. 
    • Detachment. 
    • Assertion. 
    • Receptivity. 
Take steps to feel better about yourself
1. Identify troubling conditions or situations
2. Become aware of thoughts and beliefs
3. Challenge negative or inaccurate thinking
4. Adjust your thoughts and beliefs
