Transforming Conceptual Learning into Action

OBJECTIVES:

·        To transform conceptual learning into action.

·        To facilitate and enhance relationships within the locality, county, and region.

CONTENTS TO BE COVERED:  Mostly basic dynamics of community and industry relationships will be discussed and practical assignment to make students capable to deal it. Field visits including industry, community and hard to reach areas will be part of it in regular basis.

OVERVIEW AND RATIONAL:

    DIU introduces Academic Social Responsibilities (ASC) where students can participate in social work from academic perspective. This lesson is to perform responsibility without expectation for the community where we belong to.

     One of the main rationales for introducing this practical work is to reduce isolation among students, parents, industry and community.
